Luminescent grape platters such as these were highly popular from 1908 to 1915.This classic grape and vine pattern platter has been especially created by Fenton for the Hundredth Anniversary Series. Made from an Imperial mould and plunger from the era it has a twelve-point crimp that was distinctive of the times. Metallic salts are sprayed on the hot glass then fired in a kiln to fuse them to the surface. This is a classic "Carnival" style that makes a stunning centerpiece that well enrich and beautify your home.
